Our Leadership

Dhirendra Pratap Ray - CEO & Managing Director

Dhirendra holds a Master of Science (Technology) in Geophysics and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Institute of Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, India. He has worked with several multi national companies including Dolphin Geophysical (now a days Shearwater Geoservices), Quantum Geoservices based at their Singapore office where he held the senior position in Processing & Imaging and was responsible for successful completion of onshore and offshore projects. He founded RAY SPEED SOLUTIONS in 2019 and has been leading its growth in India since inception. His nearly two decades of experience in the Oil & Gas and Mineral Exploration Industries in India and abroad has equipped him with the operations management skills to run businesses across the globe. He has several achievements in the field of geoscience operations and continues to enjoy bringing innovative geophysical techniques to the client.

Dimple - Co-founder/ Director

She brings rich multinational experience of 16 years across HR, administration, strategic planning, negotiation, leadership, and public company management. She is responsible for Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Tax, Audit, and Risk Management. Under her leadership, the organization has put in place the right HR policies, progressive people practices, and talent management across RAY SPEED. Previously, she worked in oil & gas industry, real state, banking etc., and has an exceptional ability to understand the market situation and translate them into revenue opportunities. She has accumulated vast experience throughout his career in India and overseas. She holds an Bachelor and diploma degree in Human Resources Management.

Dr. Charles Puryear, Associate Partner

Charles has extensive experience of 18+ years in seismic data processing and interpretation. He is an expert of high resolution seismic processing and developed a spectral extrapolation module based on wavelet inversion (AI & ML) technology. He received a Ph.D. in Geophysics/Seismology under John Castagna at the University of Houston. His background includes seismic and electromagnetic interpretation and exploration, extensive research and development on high resolution seismic processing, quantitative interpretation and attributes. He has experience applying processing methods and workflows to a variety of problems in exploration geophysics, including seismic inversion, modeling, attributes, spectral analysis and both geological and quantitative interpretations.

Nitya Prabhakarudu, Head – Gravity & Magnetic

He holds a Master's degree in Geophysics from IIT Kharagpur and has about four decades of experience in geophysical exploration for hydrocarbons and minerals. He has managed and played a key role in several Seismic and Gravity & Magnetic projects during his association with ONGC in various Indian basins and has worked with ONGC for over 30 years. GM data processing and interpretation of Farsi block, Persian Gulf, Iran led to the discovery of a Giant Gas filed and also based on Microgravity and MT data identified reservoir limits of Ankleshwar and Kanjirangudi fields. His expertise includes Gravity & magnetic surveying, processing and interpretation. Moreover, he trained university professors, research laboratory scientists on 'Modern Practices in Petroleum Exploration' on the platform of Federation of Indian Petroleum Industries from 2011 to 2019.

Choppalli Visweswara Rao - Processing & Imaging

With over 35 years of rich experience in Oil & Gas industry. Former General Manager of India’s leading national oil company, ONGC. His expertise includes seismic acquisition, processing and QC along with vast experience in Interactive Interpretation. Prospect evaluation for assessment of HCB potential in Indian basins including Techno-commercial analysis. He has managed and played a technical role on numerous projects for processing and interpretation of several basins in India own by ONGC. He has been processing, interpreting, and modeling geophysical data with a strong emphasis on obtaining geological information from various data types. He holds Ph.D. in Geophysics from IIT, Bombay. He expertise and domain knowledge is the asset for RAY SPEED.

Narendra Prasad Srivastava - Head – Mines & Mineral

With a Master Degree in Geophysics from Indian School of Mine (ISM), Dhanbad. He has over 35 years of rich experience in mineral exploration, development, and production, and has served Central Mine Planning & Design Institute (CMPDI). He started his career with Gujarat Engineering Research Institute in 1986, then he joined CMPDI in 1989, where he successfully commissioned the planning and execution of need based geophysical surveys Promoted to the rank of Chief Manager, where he successfully executed several projects and worked with the latest geophysical technology available in the market at that time such as seismic, ERT etc. He has been associated with RAY SPEED in 2020 after Superannuated from CMPDI.
